pretty sure it is a TVB drama.
It was very popular at the time and it was either set in either
ancient or pre-modern period.
The drama had to do with fighting/kung fu/fantasy. It had one of the
major characters, who could suck up someone's "energy" by placing his
hand on their heads, suck them (electric appears or something) leaving
them dead. (I think skeletons or clothes left only).
Maybe that guy was played by Yuen Wa but it is too vague to remember.
There was another character whose power had something to do with
fire...
